About the Nature Dance Program

A Great Opportunity for Young People (Aged 16-30) Interested in Dance and Travel!

Call for interested dancers to form a nature dance team to represent Canada and perform in the International Dance Festival held in summer 2007 in Indonesia. All dance training and the accommodation in Indonesia will be freely provided. Participants only need to pay for their own air fare and have a strong interest in dance. Having previous dance experience is an asset, but not required.

The Goals of the Nature Dance Team:

   1. To experience spiritual joy through dance.
   2. To value life and diversity in nature.
   3. To promote peace and harmony in the world.

Dance Practice
Time: Monday and Tuesday 7:30-9:30 pm

Location: either Scotia Dance Centre (bet. Granville and Davie) or

Chinese Cultural Centre (bet. Pender and Carrall St.)

We will be starting our next dance on June 18, 2007.

Note. Before contacting us, please make sure that you would be able to commit to the two dance practice times as stated above and that you would be available between Aug 7- 14th for traveling abroad. Air fare (for going to and back from Indonesia) is estimated at $1300 per person.  If you are interested, please include your name, age, phone number in your email and send it to joyfuldance@gmail.com.
